We're In!

We closed on our house 2 weeks ago and since then it's been crazy. We had to clean the house before we could move in. It was DISGUSTING! I should have taken pictures of the master bath but I was too busy dry heaving to think about it. One drawer had a layer of toothpaste on the bottom and the next two drawers had layers of hair - long hair that was stuck to the bottom. Yea - gross! Walls were covered in crayon and pencil and who knows what else. Mr. Clean's Magic Erasers have been our best friend around here. Love them.

Anyway, then Jake would come to the house after work to paint while I stayed at the apartment to pack. Cory helped Jake paint and move some stuff over and then on Saturday the 14th my mom, dad, Tye and Jed came out and helped us move everything. It was so helpful and we're so grateful for all the help. And then we've been unpacking since. I'll post pictures soon.

We've moved Kaylee to her "big girl bed" (a twin bed) instead of her crib - which has been interesting but she's actually doing quite well. She looks so small on that big bed but she loves it! And I think she loves the space of the new house too - I know Jake and I do! There's still things to be fixed and decorating to be done but we're getting there and we're so glad to finally be in a house.
