Bedroom Decorating

It's been awhile since I've blogged last (because I haven't had anything to blog about) but today I am excited. It started last weekend....

I talked my mom into going shopping with me (it didn't take much coaxing). I wanted to go to Hobby Lobby because I've heard it's awesome - and it is! And also Tai Pan because I had a coupon. I was looking for something to go over our bed. I love our bedroom but above our bed was just blah so I needed something.

Tai Pan was very disappointing - I found nothing that I HAD to have, therefore, did not buy anything. At Hobby Lobby however, I found lots of things that I really liked but I only bought this amazing lamp that matches our bedroom PERFECT! Not the greatest picture - but I LOVE it.

Then on our way back to Utah County we stopped in Lehi at Rod Works (which I think is BETTER than the one in Springville). That is where I found things that I absolutely HAD to have. I found these two metal frames which are a little dented but I still really liked them. Because they were dented though I got them each for 30% off. Woo-hoo! You can't even tell, unless you're up close. And then as I was getting ready to check out with my two frames I saw this....

It had different candles in it but I loved it and thought it would look really good above our bed. So I put it altogether today and this is the final product.

I love my bedroom! I never thought I would say that because it is SO SMALL but now I love it. It's so cozy. Jake even liked it. After he told me what a fantastic job I did he said that "it looks very classy". I was just glad he liked it. I was nervous to show him.

Now.... on to the rest of my house......

Oh, to be able to decorate a space without worrying about peeling it off later or putting any holes in walls...

...oh wait, you live with a Nielsen. :)

(I LOVE it!)
