I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that we have officially adopted a new member into our little family. Everyone, please meet Killer (if you have not met already).
She is actually my mother-in-law's dog and has been part of the Nielsen clan for a very long time! But for some reason, Killer keeps making her way down to our house and no matter how hard we try to take her home, she just keeps showing up. She's always been an outside dog but when we brought her to our house for a weekend while Janice was away we made the mistake of letting her sleep inside at night. Just a guess, but I'm thinking that's why she keeps showing up here. How could I let her stay out in the cold though?
Don't let the name fool you though, she's really a sweetheart. Kage loves having her around to play with. She's old and sometimes a little grumpy with Kage's puppy energy but every once in a while she gets her own burst of energy and is very playful.
So this week we got her groomed. If she's going to stay inside, she needed a "makeover", if you will. She looks amazing! She smells good and I hope she feels better too. We even got her a new collar (she was in desperate need of one) and it's girly! With a name like "Killer", she SO needed something a little feminine. So leave it to me to get her something pink. She looks gorgeous!
This was after she got groomed (trust me, she looks much better) and she was given this lovely little bandanna to wear. Adorable!
Killer's new collar. (It's not the greatest pic but it's got little white bones on it.) Again, Adorable!

I'm not sure how I feel about your "new addition". Too many dogs...where are you going to put the "children"!! Glad you're feeling better. I was worried about you. You were soooo sick.
I'm so excited for Killer! I love that dog soooo much and it will be nice for her to finally get the attention and love that she derserves again. (Not that my mom wasn't giving her love but she needed more attention then she was given) So congrats on your "new addition"
*Hope you're feeling better!
I miss my dog so much! Ugh! :) Then again, I'd rather her be at your house than to wander down to Ephraim all the time. ;)
And she DOES look fantastic! :)
