Happy Birthday! & Happy New Year!

I can't believe 2010 is over. We ended 2009 with the greatest surprise ever - little miss Kaylee who didn't want to miss one second of 2010! And who could blame her?! We had such a fantastic year! We've spent the year getting to know our baby who has grown into a happy, feisty little girl. We became a family of three and have been adjusting to being parents. We've loved every second of it - even the tougher times.

We ended 2010 by celebrating Kaylee's 1st birthday. During the day we went to Red Robin to lunch. And that evening we had a Winter ONEderland party. We had family and friends over to have some yummy cupcakes and hot chocolate. And Kaylee was given some really great presents. Thanks to everyone who came!

Kaylee got 3 dolls for her birthday! And a stroller to push them in. She's a natural - she looks like a cute little mom.

Her birthday was bitter sweet for me. It was of course a day to celebrate but I'm also so sad that her first year went by so fast! And as if to rub it my face a little more that she's no longer my little baby, she took her first steps on January 1st. She's growing up so fast!!! She had her 1 year get well appointment the other day. She's almost 17 lbs. I know that sounds small but for her that's a pretty big improvement - but still too small for a front facing car seat. :( She has a little attitude for sure but she's also SOOO happy. I love her so much! And I can't wait too see what the next year has in store for our little family!
