I hate...

Shopping for a new vehicle.

Car salesmen.

Test driving a vehicle with the annoying sales guy in the back seat.

Cheesy car salesmen lines....
Me: "Where do you want me to park?"
Sales guy: "I'd really like it parked in your garage but this will do for right now."
Really?! I'll tell you where I want to park this car right now!

Living in the middle of nowhere so you have to drive 2 hours to go car shopping.

How expensive vehicles are!!!

Test driving a vehicle, loving it and imagining the coming days and months, and possibly even the years that you will be enjoying this new ride. Imagining your kiddies (future one's included) enjoying the DVD player that pops down from the roof and being this happy glorious family in our new vehicle. (I know this is a daydream.) And then having that beautiful daydream being torn to pieces because of price, or something wrong with the vehicle or just coming to your senses and realizing that this vehicle is just a little out of reach.

Car shopping all day and going to lots of dealerships and feeling no closer to purchasing anything than we were before we went. *sigh*

Shopping for a new vehicle.

However, I love...

Having a car savvy husband.

A husband who isn't afraid to say what he's thinking - to anyone.(Okay, not always do I love this but for car shopping - it's a good thing.)

The Ford Edge.

The GMC Acadia or the Buick Enclave. (Neither of which I will be owning any time in the near future.)

Our awesome little girl who hangs out in her car seat all day putting up with her parents carting her all over to look at cars and doesn't hardly fuss but instead smiles and giggles at you like you're the best parents ever!

And again, my awesome husband. Need I say more?

*another deep, long sigh* Did I mention I hate shopping for a new vehicle? I mean, I really hate it.

Amen! I'm terrified to ever go to a dealership because they can totally rip you off...you're super lucky that Jake is so forward with his knowledge! :)

Ha Ha Ha Ha! I needed a good laugh! I imagine you didn't post what Jake said to the salesman for good reason! :) Good luck with your search and give Kaylee a big kiss and hug from grandma Janice! I love and miss you!
