Rat Problem

Did you know that if you put a little bit of salt in the back of your dog's throat you will induce vomiting? Very helpful information if your dog swallows rat poison. Apparently our dog isn't the only one who has done this - there's multiple websites dedicated to the subject.

And just in case you're wondering - no I don't think we have mice or rats here. At least that's what Jake keeps telling me. He says the rat poison has been here for years, according to Harward's employees who have stayed in the apartment. And from the looks of it - Kage has been the first to touch the stuff. Lucky for us.... :(

So if you have a dog and you need something it ate to come back up - try some salt. It really does work! Kage seems to be fine, I don't think he ate very much though.

That is some very good information to have. You never know when one is going to find a dish of rat poison sitting around!! Only in Roosevelt...I would think!
