Happy Mother's Day

Yesterday was my very first Mother's Day and it was so great! I had such a good weekend! On Saturday, my mom and I went to the Primrose Retreat Spa for a "Mother Daughter Island Pedicure Party" (that's what the Special was called). We got fabulous pedicures and then a cupcake and drink. It was a fun Mother's Day treat to enjoy with my mom.

Jake took me to dinner that night to Red Robin. It was so good! But it was freezing in there - I swear they had the air conditioning on full blast! Apparently the waiter could tell so he brought me a FREE hot chocolate to help warm me up. And it was delicious followed by my awesome burger! Yummy!

Sunday morning, after getting up and feeding Kaylee, I went back to my bedroom to get ready and found a rose lying on the bed with a card. And inside the card was some MONEY! I went out where Jake and Kaylee were hanging out on the couch and said "What is this?" And Jake said that Kaylee had told him that I deserved to go shopping feeling guilt free (I always feel guilty going shopping and spending money on myself). My little girl is so smart and so sweet. And so is my adorable husband. They make a fantastic team.

The best part of my day though was last night rocking my baby girl to sleep, looking into her cute little face and feeling so overwhelemed with love for her and feeling so lucky to be her mom.
