Ruidoso, New Mexico

Jake and I went on a small vacation to Ruidoso, NM with my family to visit my brother Jed. Jed is an assistant trainer to Carl Draper. Jed is pretty much the coolest ever. Ha ha, love ya Jed!

Hearts Wide Open. Isn't she gorgeous! I love her. She won the All American Futurity last year and ran 2nd in the Derby this year.

So when we weren't at the race track, we were driving the go-carts! That's one of the things we look forward to on this trip. We spend so much money at "Pillows Fun Track" on Labor Day weekend and have so much fun!!!

As you can tell, we had a ton of fun! We even met some new friends - Shannon and her daughter Hadley. It was so nice meeting them and spending time with them. Hadley even let me color with her and she came hot tubbing with Jake and I. It was super fun.

Even though the drive was sooo long - 12 hrs., it was worth it. We don't get to visit Jed too often so it was so great to see him! And it was awesome to spend some time with the whole fam. We're about as disfunctional as you can get but that's okay because I love you guys! And I have a great time when we're together!
