Anniversary in Park City

Jake and I went to Park City to celebrate our anniversary. We met my mom and dad in Heber and they took Kaylee for the night. I was very nervous about leaving her for the night even though she was in very good hands.
We went shopping at the outlet mall and bought some fun things. We then went to dinner at the River Horse. Oh. My. Gosh! It was soooo good and soooo fancy.

After dinner we went over to the Egyptian Theater to watch Thriller. I was so excited to see Thriller. I went to it in Salt Lake when I was in high school and loved it because it was so great and I was really excited when I found out they were doing some shows in Park City. We got there and some of the performers were walking around the audience and their costumes were awesome and scary. The show started off great and there was some really good performances but overall - I was SO disappointed. They tried way too hard to make it funny to the point where it wasn't funny. They kept showing stupid movie clips and we just weren't impressed. Either the show has went way down hill since I last saw it or the one in Park City just isn't as good as the one in Salt Lake. I don't know. We did enjoy parts of it though but I can't say that it was worth the money.

Scary, right?!

We came home the next afternoon after sleeping in and relaxing. We had so much fun and it was so good to have a little break with just the two of us. Although I did miss Kaylee but while we were gone - she was having an awesome time too. She went on her first horse ride! Grandpa says "She's a natural."

Our anniversary isn't actually for a few more days but we had so much fun celebrating it in Park City. Happy 4 years Jake! I love you.

I actually love Thriller. We go every year. We go to Kingsbury Hall in Salt Lake for it though because we went to one in Provo a couple of years ago, and it was NO WHERE near as good. You are right, it's just because it wasn't in Salt Lake. Happy Anniversary though!

My house is soooo quiet without my little Kaylee bug. She was so much fun and so good. Can't wait till the next time you decide to go for overnight. I love her and miss her -- you and Jake too!!
