Ruidoso

During the summers, Jed lives in Ruidoso, New Mexico. This summer Zac was down there as well for a little while. So the rest of my family went down over the Labor Day holiday to visit. We had a lot of fun.

Kaylee had never met her Uncle Jed and I hadn't seen him since last October so I was very excited. We also got to see Jed's girlfriend Shannon and her daughter Hadley. It was so good to see all of them again and be able to spend time together!

The porch of the house we rented. It was in a beautiful area and there were deer everywhere!

Kaylee and I found this guy on our morning walk.

The wild turkeys cruising by the house outside.

We went to the Mountain of the Gods Inn, where there is a beautiful lake behind it. We rented some Kayak's, paddle bikes, and a boat and went for a cruise around the lake. (And just FYI, in case you are ever considering renting these - the bikes were LAME!)

We did some serious go-carting (I think we must keep them in business)!!!

We did some shopping and the boys played dress up.

We went to the Hubbard Museum.

We spent a little bit of time at the race track.

And we just hung out, ate some great food, and enjoyed being together. We had so much fun - except for the driving 12 hours thing - not so fun....
