Happy Birthday.... to ME!

I have the coolest, sweetest, most adorable husband ever. I'll explain....

Jake had a irrigation convention to go to in California for work. The conference started on Sunday and goes until Tuesday. So Jake asked me if I wanted to fly out with him for a couple of days early and go to Disney Land. I LOVE Disney Land! And I've been telling him for a long time that I wanted to go with him so yea! Anyway, it was my birthday present. See - isn't he the best?!

We flew out Friday evening and went to Disney Land on Saturday. We had soooo much fun! We went on all of the coolest rides and even some of the kiddie rides.

We went and saw the The Bug's Life show: It's Tough to be a Bug. It's so cute! It's one of my favorites and even Jake liked it. It's a 3D show - loved it!

One of my favorite pictures is the one with Woody!! I would have gotten more pictures with Disney characters but there was always a line for them. But if it would have been a short line I totally would have gotten more!! And Woody even blew me a kiss when we left.

And our favorite ride was the big roller coaster. Screamin' over California or something like that. It was way fun. Jake and I took a picture of the picture that they take while you're on it. So the picture isn't the best quality but it will have to do.

Please ignore the people behind us. We were in the very front - twice! And so the second time around we were totally posing for the camera! I know, we're dorks!

And when we got back to our hotel - we were dead! We were so tired. We got there early, left late and were just going all day . We had a ton of fun there but we were so ready for bed when we got home!

We slept in super late the next day - except for my mom calling me at 6:00 in the morning - to chat! It was fine though, I love you Mom. It was just really early but I quickly fell back asleep afterwards.

We ate lunch at the Cheesecake Factory which is one of my favorite restaurants. The food was amazing but we were so full that we had to get our desserts to go. You can't go to the Cheesecake Factory without getting cheesecake! Later we ate our cheesecake back at our hotel. We got Pumpkin and their 30th Anniversary cheesecake which was a layer of chocolate cake and then a layer of cheesecake, chocolate cake and cheesecake, covered in chocolate frosting. Both of them were amazing. I highly recommend both!! The picture was taken right after we ate - don't we look absolutely full and satisfied?! Yum...

And then Jake took me to the airport so I could fly home to get back to work on Monday while he stays in California. So he takes me to the John Wayne airport. Please keep in mind that JAKE booked our flights. I didn't have anything to do with this trip. So we say goodbye and that stuff and I go inside to check in. They have no record of me leaving that airport. So the lady that is helping me tells me that I am at the wrong airport. And she like yells it in front of all these people. So I felt like an idiot. I called Jake to tell him that he left me at the wrong airport! So he had to come back and we had to drive for a half hour to the Long Beach airport. Thankfully, it's the smallest airport I've ever seen and not a lot of people there so I flew through check-in and security and made my flight with plenty of time to spare.

Anyway, so my birthday present was a week early but it was amazing. I have the best husband ever! And I can't wait to see him tomorrow night when I pick him up. Hopefully he makes it to the correct airport.
