What's new with US....

Blogging seems to be the new "thing" so... here we are! I love reading others blogs so I thought I'd start one for Jake and I, our lives aren't all that exciting but it looked like fun anyway. I told Jake that I was going to start a blog on us and he couldn't care less, but I'm excited!

Jake has started a new job at Harward Irrigation. He works in the Agriculture Sales department and so far he loves it. Starting a new job can be tough and he did question his decision to quit Rocky's after the first few days but he's on his 3rd week and is really enjoying it. He loved Rocky's, how could he not when he gets to talk trucks and cars all day? But he's really enjoying learning something new and he's doing very well - and he can always find someone to talk trucks with! (He wouldn't forgive me if I didn't put a picture of his truck on!)

As for me, nothing really new or exciting is going on. I'm still working as an Office Manager at New Haven. And I am so excited that it is finally summer! Jake is totally a winter dude and I am definitely a summer chic! I need to get on a boat and practice my wake boarding skills - I love it but I need all the practice I can get. And with Utah weather, who knows when it will start snowing again.

But for the most part, I just enjoy the weekends to spend some time with my hubby. We've been having a lot of fun lately. Memorial day we went to the cabin and did some snowmobiling. It was fun. Snowmobiling is a new thing for me but I think I'm slowly getting the hang of it. I'm having fun learning, nonetheless.

We've also went on some rides in Jake's beloved jeep. I have to admit, it's been a lot of fun. It doesn't go very fast but Jake still has a way of freaking me out while in it. He's put a lot of work into getting it to look the way it does now and getting it to run. We look forward to using it more this summer.

Now that Jake doesn't have to work on Saturdays anymore, I'm looking forward to really fun weekends this summer. Since he dragged me along for the snowmobiling, he's coming wake boarding with me!! I'm very glad that summer is here and I'm so glad to spend more time with my incredible husband.
